I didn’t know that my mom realized that I wanted a humidifier filters for a gift this Christmas. Maybe because she spent so much time last month at home and she thought that I might be grateful with that gift and I am. She felt that it is a little cold at home and she thought that the kids might be suffering from sickness due to this ‘weather’ inside. I was planning to buy that same filter she bought me at the year end sale at the mall but I am thankful that she crosses that out of my budget already.
I am expecting a lot of visitors this coming holidays so I am in the process of renovating the house. I particularly chose the kitchen first because the food are going to be handled here during that time. I changed the tile flooring into a more lively color and I got them from a sale online. All shops right now are on sale so I am grabbing that chance. I also took the chance of getting rid the old tiles in garden where most of the kids will play. More nature loving, more fun for them, I guessed. Can’t wait ’til that day and I am sure that it’s going to be a blast.
I was out of a budget last year when I was supposed to buy a new personal computer, so I bought basically what my budget can give me. I only need the computer for my follow up reports and projects at work so I need not of a high speed, big memory PC. But then again, sometimes, when I get tired of typing all of those projects, I need to relax, surf a little and play games.
But sometimes, I cannot do so because it always say that my video cards needs to be upgraded. I didn’t think of that the first time so now, I have to upgrade it to satisfy my need of playing games to as a means of relaxation. I thought I saved a little money, but I didn’t. Never do what I did. lol..
I have made files online for the documents that we need for the presentation on Friday. USB’s can’t hold much of it so I decided to have it online and of course, for its safety, I also had an online backup. My boss was amazed byt that idea and he said he wants time to have all his files have back up on the net also, better yet, teach him how to do it so that he will know what to do if I am not around. I didn’t realize I was making progress with my work and my boss loved it that he decided to put me in charge when we have computer files that needed back up online.
Every weekend you will see my dad back there in the garage doing his stuff. All over him are hardware stuff that I do not know at all except for the industrial clamps that he showed me how to use. He spends all his time down there and only get up when it is eating time or when he needs to take a break or a nap. I didn’t like it at first but I thought that it is better than him hanging around with his friends some place where we don’t know and gets home in the morning.
He use to do this after work but never on weekends. He is too busy now and can’t hardly go out anymore. Sometimes, I join him down there when I want to bond with him and we always have a lot of fun.
