Fair and White Complexions
Since I am from the Philippines, it’s not usual that I see people having fair skins. Most people, men and women, in my country have fair complexion and there are only few of them who has light skin but not that very light like those of the Americans or Englishmen. I know that Americans and some white people from parts of Asia like South Korea, envy our skin, weird to think, huh? They think that it is the perfect skin for a human being; they don’t have to go under the sunlight to get the tan, they just don’t know that we, on the other hand, think that their skin is much more admirable. That is why most white people go to tanning salons to make their skin look fair and the fair ones buy whitening products for them to look white. People in general are not that satisfied at all. Isn’t that ironic?
